why not a software gateway

My PC has a bluetooth dongle, so it can pick up Cellphone signals. It also has a standard PSTN (or landline) modem. So it can process the same signals as the hardware gateways, link XLink or Cell2tel.

As a result, a piece of software should do the same as these hardware gateways. Why can't I find one?

Bluesoleil has somethink like it -- a bluetooth phone connects to the PC speaker and microphone. But its not quite there.
