The Uniden DECT 6.0 cordless phone range is enormous. Uniden has clearly set out to dominate the DECT 6.0 cordless phone market. Their range of models is at least as large as Panasonic's.

As with most DECT phones, all models in the Uniden range support up to six cordless handsets.

DECT 6.0 phones use the 1.9 GHz frequency, which is far superior to the 900 MHz and 2.4 MHz cordless phone frequencies. Uniden has done some further tweaking to its version of DECT 6.0. The net result is crystal clear voice communication without interference from WiFi networks, microwaves, bluetooth devices or or baby monitors.

Uniden's main competitor is the Panasonic DECT phone range.

The stand-off between Panasonic and Uniden is paralleled in the 2 line cordless phone niche. While Panasonic dominates the multi line cordless phone system market with its 5.8 GHz 4 and 2 line cordless phones, it is challenged by the highly competitive Uniden TRU9466 in the home office market.

The Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phone has a serious competitor in the Uniden DECT offering. Technically they are similar products and there are models with corresponding features in both ranges.
