1. Night Mode: the ringer can be de-activated on specified handsets so that late calls don't wake an entire household.
2. Caller ID: that operates when the phone is in use. We have all had to juggle inbound calls and there is nothing more frustrating than getting the beep to tell us a call is waiting, but not knowing who it is.
3. Light-up Indicator at the base of the aerial silently notifies of incoming calls and messages. It's a feature that our KX-TG6702B 2 line cordless telephone got us hooked on and we now wouldn't buy a cordless phone without this feature.
Until now the Panasonic KX-TG1032S set the benchmark for DECT 6.0 cordless phones. The bar has now been raised.
2. New Panasonic 2 Line Cordless Phone
The KX-TG9291T is Panasonic's first DECT 6.0 cordless 2 line phone. Until very recently all DECT 6.0 phones were single line phones and the 5.8 GHz frequency was the defacto standard for multi line cordless phones.
The KX-TG9291T is a DECT alternative to Panasonic's iconic KX-TG6702B 5.8 GHz 2 line cordless phone system. Feedback from users is far from positive. At this stage we have yet to come across a satisfactory cordless 2-line DECT phone from any manufacturer including Panasonic. The Panasonic KX-TG6702B and KX-TG4500B remain the best 2 and 4 line cordless phone options.
We have always been impressed by the Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phone range and the latest updates with the exception of the KX-TG929IT will serve to maintain the company's competitive edge in the market.
