It has has been superseded by a far superior phone, namely the KX-TG4500B. The most significant difference is that it's a 5.8 GHz phone rather than a 2.4 GHz phone. 5.8 phones operate in a less crowded spectrum than the 2.4 GHz frequency and as a result are immune to interference from WiFi and most other wireless signals. They incorporated the resulting improvements and refinements into the KX-TG4500B and the competition has yet to come up with anything comparable.
