Which is the ant's pants, cat's whiskers ... of emergency phone chargers? There's hardly any difference in cost. They are both cheap cell phone chargers. Definitely a lot cheaper than buying a replacement AC charger and they are both reusable.

For our money the iGo is a better AA cell phone charger for a number of reasons:

1. It works with all sorts of gadgets. No need to buy multiple chargers, just the "Tips."

2. If an iGo Power Splitter is used, two handheld devices can be charged at once e.g. a cell phone and an iPod. A life saver in some circumstances.

3. The Energi to Go is semi-reusable. It's was clearly not intended to have a long life of active use, whereas the iGo is a relatively robust piece of gear. Battery operated cell phone chargers are intended for "emergencies." If they aren't durable they aren't worth having.
